PURPOSE: A method for removing foreign materials stuck on surfaces is provided to effectively remove carbon materials attached on the surface of a steel plate by spraying low temperature gas on the surface of the steel plate. CONSTITUTION: A method for removing foreign materials stuck on surfaces comprises following steps. Low temperature gas is sprayed at high speed for freezing foreign materials attached on the surface of a steel plate(100) so that the foreign material is detached. The low temperature gas is created from the dry ice. The high-speed jetting of the low temperature gas is enabled by the ejecting pressure of the compressed air sprayed by the low temperature gas.
