The device has a hook shaped part (A) for fixing the device to a belt worn at waist of a musician or directly fixing the device to a garment (2) i.e. trousers, of the musician. A bearing part (B) bears the weight of a stringed instrument at the level of hip of the musician. A suction cup (C) permits the maintenance of the stringed instrument on the device. A rotation unit i.e. hinge, adjusts the device with the thickness of the belt or the garment. A connection part (D) connects the hook shaped part and the bearing part.
