PURPOSE: An IPTV set-top box remote controller with a character string input keyboard of a personal computer keyboard is provided to improve convenience of character input of IPTV by a remote controller including a keyboard of a PC. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller function keys(202,203) for selecting a function of an IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) set-top box, a keyboard(204) for character input, an LCD for input character confirmation, and IR output unit(206) for outputting signals. The function key of a remote controller comprises functions for power control sound mute, and sound activation. The function key comprises a TV control function, a pop up, and a pull-up menu selection function. The LCD outputs inputted character just when the character is inputted. |
