An electronic apparatus for mounting on a vehicle has a vehicle condition detection section for detecting a stop of the vehicle, a voice announcement section, and a voice announcement control section. When a stop of the vehicle is detected by the vehicle condition detection section, the voice announcement control section causes the voice announcement section to issue an alarm for calling user's attention to theft.
