<p>PURPOSE: A rotary sleeve apparatus of an electric furnace is provided to prevent damage due to the concentration of high temperature waste gas discharged through an elbow. CONSTITUTION: A rotary sleeve apparatus of an electric furnace comprises a sleeve moving unit(110), a sleeve rotating unit(120), a sleeve cooling unit, and a vane part. A sleeve(21) is carried from a collection duct(20) toward an elbow. The sleeve is rotated after the sleeve moving unit is carried to the elbow. The sleeve cooling unit supplies cooling water to the sleeve rotated. The vane part is formed on the inner circumference of the sleeve and moves waste gas and dust rearwards by the rotation of the sleeve.</p> |
