<p>PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus and a method for controlling the same are provided to form a color image by using plural photosensitive mediums. CONSTITUTION: A driving member rotates plural photosensitive media(40Y,40M,40C,40K), and a detection unit(44) detects a rotation state of the plural photosensitive media. A control unit(90) controls the driving unit so that two photosensitive media among the plural photosensitive medias may stop a desired phase angle difference by using the detection unit. A reference member(42) is installed at each photosensitive medium.</p> |
