MULTI-LEAF COLLIMATOR AND APPARATUS FOR RADIATION THERAPY

PURPOSE: A multi-leaf collimator and a radiation treatment apparatus are provided, which can establish the illuminating range of radiation in high precision level. CONSTITUTION: A multi-leaf collimator comprises: a leaf board group(10) in which a plurality of leaf boards are arranged along a virtual axis; a driving member(24) which drives the leaf board in the direction parallel to the virtual axis and is connected with the leaf board and meets at right angle with a radiating axis; and a plurality of driving units(12) which have plural rows of the driving member in order to arrange the driving member along the radiating axis.
