PURPOSE: A PCB interconnection coupling state detecting method and an apparatus thereof are provided to detect the coupling state of a plurality of sub PCB combining to one main PCB. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of connectors is installed on a main PCB. A plurality of sub PCBs(200, 300) combines with a connector. A controller(130) is installed on the main printed circuit board(100). To detect the coupling state of the connector and the sub PCB, the usage state of an available pine are determined.
