PURPOSE: A display apparatus, a backlight unit, and a driving method of the display apparatus are provided to prevent errors of an inverter driving signal when a frame frequency of the display apparatus is changed. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(300) displays an image. A backlight unit(700) faces one side of the display unit. The backlight unit supplies light to the display unit. In the backlight unit, a driving frequency is changed according to a frequency of a synchronizing signal. An inverter supplies power to a backlight according to an inverter driving signal.
