PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus and a control method the same are provided to reduce color deviation of an image signal read by a CIS(Contact Image Sensor) module. CONSTITUTION: A color image sensor module adopts a single channel line sensor and has a time division multi color light source. A memory unit(50) stores a color signal for each color by line unit, and an image processing unit(60) determines an interpolation ratio for interpolating a color signal of the current line from at least one line for each color based on the reference color. The image processing unit generates a new color signal for each color based on the determined interpolation ratio.
