PURPOSE: A holding apparatus for a metal plate is provided to minimize displacement of a metal plate by rotating a driving part and holding the metal plate. CONSTITUTION: A holding apparatus for a metal plate comprises a controller(A), a driving part(B), and a sensor(C). The controller comprises a cylinder(130), a fixing unit(132), and a transfer bar(134). The fixing unit is coupled with the rod of the cylinder. The transfer bar is projected to the outside of the fixing unit. The driving part includes a holder(142) which is coupled with a holding groove and movable, wherein the holding groove is formed on a side of a housing. The driving part also includes a driving plate which is rotated by the transfer bar. The sensor is formed on a side of the housing and senses the rotation of the driving part.
