PURPOSE: A probe for detecting pathogens of periodontal diseases and an analysis apparatus using the same are provided to improve reproductivity and specificity. CONSTITUTION: A probe for identifying the presence of periodontal disease pathogen comprises: a nucleotide of sequence numbers 1-24; or nucleotide selected from a complementary sequence thereof. The probe is specifically hybridized with genome thereof. The pathogen is Porphyromonas gingivalis, Eikenella corrodens, Streptococcus mutans, Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans, Prevotella intermedia, or Treponema denticola. A DNA chip for analysis of periodontal diseases comprises a probe a nucleotide of sequence number 1-12 or complementary nucleotide sequence thereof.
