PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing falling of a dummy bar is provided to control the position of a dummy bar using a cylinder for releasing a safety lever to drive a conveyor chain forward or reversely. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing falling of a dummy bar comprises a ratchet(200), a safety lever(300), and a cylinder(400). The ratchet is coupled with one side of a driving shaft(100) for driving a conveyor chain and is rotated together with the driving shaft. The safety lever is installed adjacent to the ratchet with one side inserted in the ratchet and restricts the rotation of the ratchet. The cylinder rotates the safety lever to separate from the ratchet.
