PURPOSE: An automatic welding device equipped with a protective breaking unit is provided to minimize damage to parts when the welding device collides with peripheral obstacles. CONSTITUTION: An automatic welding device comprises a carriage(11), an adapter(22), a multi-axial robot(12), a case(21), and fixtures(30,30"). The adapter is connected to the top of the carriage. The case is connected to the bottom of the multi-axial robot. The fixtures are formed at the joint between the carrier and the adapter or the joint between the adapter and the case and broken by a downward external force at the time of a collision with the carriage.
