PURPOSE: A non-asbestos friction material composition is provided to be environment-friendly used without including harmful materials including an antimony compound and sulfur compound and needle-shaped potassium titanate and to obtain bake performance and abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A non-asbestos friction material includes macro silica and micro pearl silica. The total content of the silica is 2-10 volume% based on 100 volume% of the composition. The content of the micro pearl silica is 50-80 weight% based on the total weight% of the silica. The micro pearl silica is obtained by granulating micro silica. The non-asbestos friction material includes fibers, a binder, an abrasive, a lubricant, a friction adjustor, and filler.
