MESENCHYMAL STEM CELL PRODUCING HUMAN HEPATIC GROWTH FACTOR (HHGF), METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME AND THERAPEUTIC AGENT OF LIVER DISEASES

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing adult stem cells which are used as a therapeutic agent for liver diseases is provided to suppress apoptosis of liver cancers and to prevent and treat liver diseases. CONSTITUTION: A mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) are expressed by transforming with a recombinant expression vector containing a human hepatic growth factor(hHGF) gene. The recombinant expression vector containing human hepatic growth factor(hHGF) gene is pMEX-HGF(deposit: KCLRF-BP-00196). Mesenchymal stem cells are used for preventing and treating various liver diseases including liver cirrhosis. A method for manufacturing the mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) comprises: a step of isolating mesenchymal stem cells from umbilical cord blood; a step of sub-culturing the mesenchymal stem cells; a step of transforming a human hepatic growth factor(Hhgf)gene with a recombinant expression vector; and a step of selecting transformed cells.
