PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder container in which powder body such as toner deposited in the vicinity of an inlet part is effectively moved. SOLUTION: The powder container 10 has a container body 50 in which an inlet part 53 for introducing powder is formed. In the vicinity of the inlet part 53, a movable bottom part 63 constituted in such a manner that it constitutes a part of an inner bottom face 62 of the container body 50 and it is movable; and an operation part 66 which is placed to be exposed to the outside of the container body 50 at the lower part of the movable bottom part 63 in order to move the movable bottom part 63.
