PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum container for a superconducting apparatus that suppresses heat invasion due to heat radiation although using a nonmetallic material as a base metal to suppress heat generation due to an eddy current and eddy current loss, and the superconducting apparatus. SOLUTION: The vacuum container includes a first partition wall and a second partition wall forming a vacuum heat insulating chamber covering a superconducting coil. The first partition wall has a radiation surface 46p. The second partition wall has an absorption surface. At least one of the radiation surface 46p and absorption surface has a metal layer group 301 which includes a plurality of exposed metal layers 300, which are disposed and formed at intervals while the nonmetallic material is exposed between the plurality of metal layers 300.
