PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of increase in the number of components and man-hours for mounting as an exclusive fixing bracket is necessary to firmly hold a compact L or I-shaped fan and tube-type heat exchanger at a height sufficiently separating from a base plate between the fin and tube type heat exchanger and a fan motor mounting plate in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: The L or I-shaped fin and tube type heat exchanger 4 can be firmly fixed at an optional height with the fan motor mounting plate 3 having a flange part 3b for firmly holding the L or I-shaped fin and tube type heat exchanger 4 without using a component such as the fixing bracket.
