PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preventive or therapeutic drug for dementia, Alzheimer disease, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorder, obesity, diabetes, hyperlipemia, sleep disorder, narcolepsy, sleep-apnea syndrome, circadian rhythm disorder, depression, allergic rhinitis and the like. SOLUTION: The drug is a phenylpyrazole derivative represented by general formula (1) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt [wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each an alkyl or the like, or they together with the nitrogen atoms adjacent to them may form a 4- to 7-membered saturated heterocycle (which may be replaced with halogen or 1-6C alkyl); n is an integer of 0 to 2; T is hydrogen, halogen or 1-6C alkyl; and R is a residual group of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound or the like].
