IN-VEHICLE UNIT, DISPLAY METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow provision of dynamic information about only an incidental parking lot to a freeway when a vehicle with an in-vehicle unit mounted therein is traveling on the freeway. SOLUTION: The in-vehicle unit includes: a display part 1e; a DSRC part 3 or IP communication part 5 transmitting and receiving data to/from a center apparatus; a current position detection part 1b detecting the current position information; a map storage part 1c storing a map DB including road information and facility information; and a control part 4 which extracts dynamic information about a parking lot of incidental facilities to the freeway existing in the forward traveling direction from parking lot dynamic information and causes the display part 1e to display the extracted dynamic information when it is determined that the vehicle travels on the freeway on the basis of the current position information and the map DB and when the parking lot dynamic information including dynamic information indicating the congestion state of the plurality of parking lots is received by the center apparatus.
