PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element exhibiting less change in hue in response to a change in a voltage applied to an electrode, and having high durability and excellent luminous performance. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes: an anode; a cathode; a multilayer luminous part arranged between the anode and the cathode and including a plurality of stacked luminous layers, each of which emits light with a peak wavelength different from one another and which are arranged such that a luminous layer emitting light with a longer peak wavelength is positioned closer to the anode; a support substrate on which a laminate including the anode, the cathode and the multilayer luminous part are mounted; a sealing substrate facing the support substrate and sandwiching the laminate; and a heat dissipation layer arranged on at least one principal surface of the support substrate or at least one principal surface of the sealing substrate, and having a thermal emissivity of 0.70 or more.
