PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To end supply of water by detecting water quantity abnormality in a water storage part due to failure of a flow regulation mechanism in simple circuit structure. SOLUTION: In a centrifugal type mist generator 4, water is supplied in predetermined flow rate from the flow regulation mechanism 46 provided on a supply water pipe 20a through an injection port 45 to the water storage part 38 to be introduced to a rotating member 34 that is rotated by a motor 6. The centrifugal type mist generator 4 includes a motor current detection circuit 61 to detect drive current at the motor 6, and a supply water control circuit 62 to end supply of water by closing the supply water pipe 20a by use of an opening/closing valve 47 when a current value equal to or over a predetermined value is detected by the motor current detection circuit 61.
