PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize space saving of a blind nut or the like by bringing a screw part of the blind nut closer to a mounting position of a bolt. SOLUTION: The blind nut consists of a plastically deformable tubular part, a flange part formed at one end of the tubular part and a screw part formed on the other end side of the tubular part. The tubular part is made thin to be available as a buckled part. The flange is provided with an opening for communicating to a hollow part of the tubular part so as to incorporate a bolt. The screw part is a part for screwing the bolt thereinto. A screw hole for communicating to the opening of the flange and the hollow part of the tubular part is formed inside the screw part. By corresponding a threading part of the bolt incorporated through the opening to a threading part provided to the surface of the screw hole, the bolt can be screwed therein. The screw part is made thicker than the tubular part. An annular gap is formed in a space with an inner wall of the tubular part in the vicinity of an end of the screw part on a side closer to the opening of the flange. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
