<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a package box is liable to be easily caught because the whole lower face of the package box comes into contact with a recessed and projected upper face of another package box below when unloading the package boxes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This package box transfer-carrying-out device is constituted in such a way that a transfer means 1 for package boxes W, Wa, ... is arranged above a package box piled-up assembly X and a carrying-out device 2 to move vertically, the package box transfer means 1 has a plurality of suction parts 3, 3a, ... arranged in parallel and a moving part 4 for letting the suction parts 3, 3a, ... advance and back freely in the horizontal direction and moving them upward, the suction parts 3, 3a, ... are attached to the moving part 4 to retreat independently from each other, suction bodies 8, 8a, ... are attached to front parts of the suction parts 3, 3a, ... to swing in the vertical and right and left directions, and the suction parts 3, 3a, ... after being sucked into the package boxes W, Wa, ... are moved upward and are retracted by the moving part 4. Consequently, the package boxes W, Wa, ... can be moved by dragging them backward at their oblique attitude in which only the opposite side to suction side of the package box comes into contact with the ground by lifting only the suction side while each suction part 3, 3a, ... lets them maintain substantially right-angled attitude to suction side faces of the package boxes W, Wa, ... of suction target.
