<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of easily performing the extension of an apparatus, the change of a configuration, or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A receiving board 10 and distribution boards 11-1 to 11-3 are cascade-connected. The receiving board 10 includes: a destination address generating section 22E for determining a destination address; and a data transfer section 22F for transmitting the destination address and image data read from a memory 23, to the distribution board 11-1. The distribution boards 11-1 to 11-3 have a receiving section 26A that receives the image data and destination address from the receiving board 10 or the previous delivery board 11; and a head controller transfer section 26E that transmits the received image data to the head controller 7 when the delivery address indicates a head controller 7 assigned for the delivery board 10 itself.
