<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes time to perform setting since a person who is inexperienced in using a dishwasher/drier is confused and makes mistakes or the like though an operation content have to be set in order to operate the dishwasher/drier. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The dishwasher/drier includes: an operation part for setting the operation content of the dishwasher/drier; an image sensor for imaging the periphery of the dishwasher/drier; an image processing means for processing the information of the image sensor; and a control means for determining a person operating the dishwasher/drier from the information of the image processing means and controlling the operation part. Whether the person setting an operation content is a person experienced in setting or an inexperienced person is determined, and when the inexperienced person sets the operation content, only some of the setting buttons of the operation part are made effective, and the person is prevented from getting confused in setting by pressing an unneeded button.
