PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding tripod constant-velocity joint and a roller unit wherein cost-reduction of a snap ring can be achieved. SOLUTION: The sliding tripod constant-velocity joint 1 includes an outer ring 10, a tripod 20, and a roller unit 2. An outer roller 30 of the roller unit 2 includes a needle rolling-contact surface 32 for needles 50 to roll about, a needle-restraining part 33 protruded radially from the needle rolling-contact surface 32 to the inside of the outer roller 30 so as to restrain axial movement of the needles 50 with respect to the outer roller 30, and a snap-ring restraining part 34 for restraining axial movement of the snap ring 60 with respect to the outer roller 30.
