A doll toy is provided herein, of which thigh section extending ahead of its waist section can turn more upward within a large angular range toward its chest section. A doll toy (1) includes a waist section (5), a pair of hip joint mechanisms (7, 7′), and a pair of thigh sections (8, 8′) attached to a lower portion of the waist section (5) via the hip joint mechanisms (7, 7′). The hip joint mechanisms (7, 7′) include a pair of rotation links (15, 15′) which rotate about a first rotation centerline CL1 within a predetermined rotation angular range, a pair of first connecting mechanisms (17, 17′) which connect the rotation links (15, 15′) to the waist section (5) to allow the rotation links (15, 15′) to rotate within the predetermined rotation angular range, a pair of stoppers (19, 19′) disposed to restrict a movement of the rotation links (15, 15′), and a pair of second connecting mechanisms (21, 21′) disposed to connect base portions (9, 9′) of the thigh sections (8, 8′) to the rotation links (15, 15′) to allow the thigh sections (8, 8′) to rotate about a second rotation centerline CL2.
