The present invention relates to a novel strain of Leuconostoc mesenteroides CJNU 0147 (accession number: KCTC 11475BP), which is isolated from kimchi and has the ability to stimulate the growth of Bifidobacterium sp., foods containing the strain, and a method for stimulating the growth of Bifidobacterium sp. using the strain.
