The invention relates to a method for producing active ingredients from a plant and to the use thereof as a base material, according to the preamble of claims (1) and (8). In order to be able to obtain active ingredients like phenols, particularly resveratrol and/or derivates of both and other active ingredients of plants in a simple way and in large amounts, wherein the infiltration of pesticides, herbicides and fungicides is omitted to a certain degree compared to known methods, it is proposed, in accordance with the invention, that the active ingredients are extracted/separated from the roots and/or rhizomes of the novel plant variety CANDY (CPVO2007/1958). |
