The pedal (11) has a support (13) rotatably arranged at a pedal axle (15), and a shoe retainer (21) supported at the support and arranged as a pivot movable on the support. The shoe retainer is supported reciprocally at the support at a distance to the pedal axle. Two concentric circular arc section-shaped bearings (19) i.e. roller bearing, are formed between the support and the shoe retainer, where a common virtual center point and/or fulcrum lie at a distance to the pedal axle. The bearings are formed by two circular-arc-shaped bearing segments formed at the shoe retainer and at the support.
