<p>A mass analyzer and an analysis method based on the detection of ion image current comprise: pulsed ions in a multi-turn time-of-flight analyzer perform multiple periodical movements by electrostatic reflectors or electrostatic deflection devices, time focusing is formed in partial region thereof, and an elongated ion beam is formed spatially; the ion beam periodically passes through multiple tubular image current detectors aligned along the axis of the ion beam; then, the image current picked up by multiple tubular detectors is detected differentially using a low-noise electronic amplifier; and a mass spectrum is obtained using mathematical transformation methods such as least squares method.</p> |
