摘要 PURPOSE: An optical alignment apparatus and a method for an optical bi-directional module are provided to improve optical coupling efficiency by performing a manual alignment process and an active alignment process. CONSTITUTION: A silicon optical bench(110) includes a substrate, a laser diode, a collimating lens, a condenser lens, a photo diode, and an optical filter. A vacuum chuck(120) transfers the optical filter to multiple directions on the substrate. An optical transmitting-receiving module(130), which is opposite to the silicon optical bench based on optical fiber, inputs light into the optical fiber and outputs the light from the optical fiber. An optical transferring module(140) arranges the light.
