<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface for intuitive program selection easy to understand for a user in such a condition that it is difficult for a user to smoothly obtain information needed for program selection under a television viewing environment wherein channels are increased due to the increase of broadcast media. <P>SOLUTION: The television device with an EPG function arranges and displays all or a part of program images being broadcasted at present including a program image in a temporarily selected state for a plurality of channels in a roughly horizontal direction, also displays the information of a temporarily selected program, and further, when acquiring a lower direction instruction from a user interface, displays the information of program content to be broadcasted after the temporarily selected program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
