<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire and heat resistant cable stably usable for a long period of time in severe environments for a machine like a coke moving machine exposed to high temperatures for a long period of time and also subjected to sprayed water and fallen cokes. <P>SOLUTION: This heat and water resistant cable is constituted of: a core wire formed of a conductor 1, a fluororesin layer 2 to coat the periphery of the conductor, and a braid 3A of ceramic fibers to coat the periphery of the fluororesin layer; a braid 3B of ceramic fibers to coat the periphery of a stranded wire 11 formed by stranding a plurality of the core wires together with an interposition 5; and an envelope 4 formed of a braid of stainless steel strands while having braid density of 90% or higher to coat the periphery of the braid of the ceramic fibers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
