<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment system which can highly efficiently and stably treat wastewater while preventing the enlargement of an activated sludge treatment device and the increase of running cost. <P>SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment system 1A includes the activated sludge treatment device 100, a wastewater treatment device 200, and a condenser 300. The activated sludge treatment device 100 has activated sludge containing microorganisms for decomposing organic solvents, and discharges the wastewater as primary treated water. The wastewater treatment device 200 contains adsorbent 211, 221 capable of adsorbing and desorbing the organic solvents contained in the primary treated water discharged from the activated sludge treatment device 100, and treats the primary treated water continuously to discharge secondary treated water and desorbed gas. The condenser 300 condenses the desorbed gas discharged from the wastewater treatment device 200 to discharge it as a condensate.
