<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a dental prosthesis, capable of efficiently creating the dental prosthesis without requiring a dense sintering process and without a correction process after the dense sintering process. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Periodic vibration is applied to a ceramic prosthesis material 101 and a rotary grinding tool 102 so that the ceramic prosthesis material 101 and the rotary grinding tool 102 are relatively and periodically vibrated in processing the ceramic prosthesis material 101 by using the rotary grinding tool including diamond particles. The amplitude of vibration of the prosthesis material 101 and the rotary grinding tool 102 is measured, and the vibration frequency and the driving power are determined so that the amplitude of vibration is a desired value.
