PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping performance-imparting agent that can easily exhibit damping performance and to provide a damping material. SOLUTION: The damping performance-imparting agent contains an N,N',N"-triphenyl-1,3,5-benzenetriamine as an active component. The damping performance-imparting agent is used by mixing with a polymer material. The damping material contains a polymer material and a damping performance-imparting component.
