<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dyeing method which enables excellent dyeing of hair treated with an alkaline oxidizing agent, hair treated to be acidic with an acidic dye and hair after water washing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hair dying method uses an alkaline oxidizing agent which is based on an acidic dye and of which the followings are found: the selection and concentration of an acidic dye hardly discolorable and transformable; the amount of a pH adjuster for an acid; the concentration and amount of a hydrogen peroxide solution; the selection and amount of particles excellent in water absorption and syneresis; and the mixing ratio of the blended quantities of a solvent, a thickening agent, etc. and a persulfate-based bleach agent, the mixing ratio being suitable for hair state. The hair dyeing method improves chromaticness, luminance and fading property and performs color change by recoating without scouring hair treated with each of an oxidation hair dye, a bleach agent, a hair manicure agent and henna.
