<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongs protection cover which is worn by tongs and effectively protects a hand from heat, fire, or oil splash when having a barbecue or grilling meat, because it is very hot to grip the tongs due to heat, fire, or oil splash, and oil-and-fat falls on charcoal fire from the meat on the gridiron to fire and burn the hair of the hand, or sometimes the hand gripping the tongs often touches the gridiron and burns. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the tongs protection cover, open holes for passing a handle part of the middle of the tongs are provided at two places 3, 4 in a front surface of a lightweight tray-shaped body 1 which has the front surface formed larger than the side surface towards an upper side and has flexibility and heat resistance, another open holes for passing the handle part on a tongs fulcrum side is passed are provided at two places 5, 6 on the back side, and a foldable panel 2 for pressing the fulcrum part of the tongs from back is provided on the upper side of the back side.
