<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cleaning building outer surface which is capable of suppressing the exposure of a cleaning means to the outside, keeping the appearance of the entire apparatus beautiful, and executing cleaning work regardless of weather. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for cleaning building outer surface includes a moving frame 17 movable along a guide rail 12 and a guide groove 13 provided on a building 11 by the drive of a motor. On the moving frame 17, a cleaning mechanism 21 for cleaning the outer surface 11b of the building 11 is supported movably within a prescribed range. On the outer side surface of the moving frame 17, a solar battery panel 25 covering the cleaning mechanism 21 is provided.
