A working time measurement apparatus and a working time measurement method by which a time required for the work can be measured by discriminating a work content even when a worker decides a working method by judging the situation of a production site. An acceleration correlation calculation part (107) calculates the correlation coefficient between acceleration data relative to an installed tool and that relative to the worker. A used installed tool identification part (108) identifies the installed tool used by the worker on the basis of the calculated correlation coefficient. A work content judgment part (109) judges the work content from the kind of the installed tool used by the worker. A work continuation time calculation part (110) calculates the working time from operation state data relative to the installed tool used by the worker.
