The system (20) has straightening machines (21, 22) i.e. stretching and bending straightening machine, provided with straightening roller sets (3, 4), where one of the straightening machines is arranged in a flow direction (6) behind the other straightening machine. Metallic goods (5) are initially passed through the latter straightening machine and afterward through the former straightening machine. The latter straightening machine is provided with a straightening roller cartridge, and supporting rollers are connected to the straightening roller sets, which are adjustable.
