The vehicle has a chassis (1) mounted on wheels (2, 3) and a controllable mechanical drive system, and a pedal system operationally coupled with the drive system and arranged at the chassis and provided with an energy-storage system. A rudder device e.g. rowing ergometer, is operationally coupled with the drive system. An energy input is supplied to the energy-storage system by the rudder device. Another energy input is supplied to another energy-storage system or the former energy-storage system by the pedal system. A drive energy operates the vehicle by the energy-storage systems.
