A data acquisition method performed by one or more controllers, the method may include receiving information related to a sequence of a plurality of images. The method may further include receiving, from an ultrasonic probe, image information corresponding to a current image of the plurality of images in the sequence. The method may further include determining whether a caliper input has been received, and when it is determined that a caliper input has been received: obtaining coordinate information corresponding to one or more locations in the current image, selecting an other image which is different from, and associated with, the current image, and obtaining one or more coordinates corresponding to one or more locations in the other image. The method may further include saving a report including the image information and the coordinate information corresponding to each image of the plurality of images of the sequence.
