OAE/CO COATING FOR PLANAR SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL INTERCONNECTS

PURPOSE: An oxygen active elements(OAE)/cobalt coating for a separator of a planar solid oxide fuel cell is provided to improve the heat stress resistance of the separator under the high temperature acid condition. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a separator for a planar solid oxide fuel cell using an OAE/cobalt coating comprises the following steps: installing a ferritic stainless steel plate inside a chamber, and inserting an oxygen active element into a Cu crucible; coating the oxygen active element on the surface of the stainless steel plate by evaporating the oxygen active element; and plating the stainless steel plate with cobalt using a plating solution containing the cobalt using an electroless plating method.
