COLORED RESIN COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, AND ORGANIC EL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored resin composition for a color filter capable of effectively reducing retardation without lowering the transmittance of pixels, while keeping compatibility between contrast ratio control and hue control.

SOLUTION: The colored resin composition for a color filter contains (A) a pigment, (B) a dispersant, (C) a binder resin, (E) a polymerizable monomer and (F) a photopolymerization initiator system, wherein the pigment (A) contains C.I. Pigment Green 58 and the binder resin (C) contains a resin (C-0) having a weight average molecular weight Mw and a double bond equivalent each within a specific range. The use of the colored resin composition is also provided.
