<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant-velocity joint and an image forming apparatus in which the constant-velocity joint is assembled without visually confirming whether or not the position of a ball and the position of a track groove are aligned with each other. <P>SOLUTION: When the constant-velocity joint is assembled while the position of the ball 12 and the position of an outer groove 21 are not aligned with each other with respect to the rotation direction, the ball 12 comes into contact with a first guide surface 22f at the end of a projection member 22. As an output shaft 100 is moved toward a driven shaft while the ball 12 is in contact with the first guide 22f of the projection member 22, the projection member 22 is pushed toward the driven shaft by the ball 12, and the ball 12 is inserted into the space inside a cup member 30. When the position of the ball 12 held in a cage 10 and the position of the outer groove 21 are aligned with each other with respect to the rotation direction by rotating the cage 10 relative to an outer ring 20, the projection member 22 moves toward the output shaft and the ball engages with the outer groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
