<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for establishing satisfactory radio communication with a radio tag by setting appropriate transmission output level for radio communication with the radio tag in consideration of property of the radio tag and a read environment, in a communication terminal provided with an optical information read function and a radio communication function. <P>SOLUTION: The communication terminal 2 reads radio tag property information to be recorded in a two-dimensional code C and a distance (d) to a communication object 3 when radio communication is established with the communication object 3.
